The Centre for Strategic Development (CSD) is a Not-for-Profit organization dedicated to sustainable development across Africa. Established in 2001 (Certificate No. 2204), CSD operates through the PanAfrican Centre for Strategic Development (PCSD) to amplify its impact. Headquartered in Kenya, CSD mobilizes resources, fosters strategic partnerships, and implements initiatives that empower marginalized communities, drive inclusive growth, and promote equitable opportunities.

Operational Approach

CSD adopts a collaborative and inclusive approach to development, working with a diverse network of partners, including governments, private sector actors, international organizations, and civil society. By leveraging proven methodologies and cutting-edge technologies, CSD delivers tailored interventions that address the specific challenges faced by African communities. The organization is also establishing a Business Development Services (BDS) Centre to provide specialized support to entrepreneurs and enterprises across East Africa, fostering innovation and economic growth.

Presence and Inclusion

Headquartered in Kenya, CSD has a presence in Sudan, Somalia, Djibouti, Tanzania, Rwanda, Uganda, Zambia, DR Congo, and Malawi, with plans to expand further across the continent. Kenya Youth Employment and Opportunities Project (KYEOP)

Trained over 23,000 unemployed youths in core business skills, enhancing their employability and entrepreneurial potential.

Consultancy on Technical Advisory to County Assemblies (CAF) on Communication

Developed communication strategies for county assemblies in Kenya, improving governance and public engagement.

Piloting of Community Level Drought Risk Management Early Warning Information Campaign
